Stu “Stuntman Stu” Schwartz (Majic 100)

Majic 100 Morning Show co-host Stu “Stuntman Stu” Schwartz began his career with what would eventually become his nickname. He started doing stunts. You gotta’ give him props–that’s a unique way to break into radio. Since then he’s become an auctioneer, announcer at the Olympics and Paralympics games and the official Ottawa Senators’ announcer to name a few. Stu also launched an anti-bullying campaign called #NoMoreBullies and, if all that wasn’t enough, the dude sent Leukemia into remission less than two months after a bone marrow transplant in 2016. Since then, he’s dedicated a lot of time to cancer fundraising and advocacy. He’s not only a friendly voice on the radio, but a local hero and inspiration.

Dominique Baker (Style Domination)

Lifestyle and fashion blogger, YouTuber and social influencer Dominique Baker is helping put Ottawa on the map in terms of sophistication and style. With over 25k followers on her Instagram page alone, Dominique is easily one of the most popular bloggers in the city. Along with managing her successful blog Style Domination, Dominique can also be found all around the city attending, and sometimes even hosting, some of the hottest events in Ottawa. If you’re not following her, you really should. She is total style and confidence goals!

Leanne Cusack (CTV Ottawa)

If you’re from Ottawa, you know Leanne. The always friendly and sweet CTV Ottawa News at Noon co-host is just so pleasant and always puts so much heart and sincerity into her stories. Whether it’s interviewing health professionals, business owners or musicians, Leanne makes everything fun! Not only is she a great journalist, but Leanne is also very active in the Ottawa community. She is involved with various charities and is a founding board member of the Ottawa Senators Foundation.

Adrian Harewood (CBC Ottawa)

Adrian Harewood is one of the most recognizable faces on CBC Ottawa, serving as the anchor of CBC Ottawa News at 6 and the host of weekly magazine show Our Ottawa. His incredible journalism skills, ability to connect with people, and ability to powerfully deliver important community stories has gained him much praise. If you're a CBC Radio fan, you may recognize Adrian's voice as well since he previously hosted the popular show All in a Day for CBO-FM before transitioning to TV.

Katrina Turnbull (Bell Fibe TV1’s Capital Style Files/ Oui C’est Chic)

A one-time French-English translator living in Paris, Katrina returned to Ottawa with her Parisian style sense to launch her lifestyle blog, Oui C’est Chic. The mother of two instantly found a passion in helping other moms feel good about themselves by sharing valuable fashion and beauty tips. The blog was a success catching the eye of Bell Fibe TV where Katrina helped spearhead the show Capital Style Files in which she takes you into the most glamorous Ottawa events and sits down with its style trendsetters.

Jeff Mauler (The New Hot 89.9)

Jeff Mauler, known publicly as Mauler, is one part of the foursome that make up the #1 morning show– The Morning Hot Tub on The New Hot 89.9. Mauler’s wit and humour, along with his great chemistry with his co-hosts has led the show to be nominated for a Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Award. Along with the morning gig, Mauler co-hosts The Canadian Hit 30 and, even won a guest co-host spot on LIVE! With Regis and Kelly back in 2011! Showing his love for his city, Mauler famously expressed,  “I wouldn’t be here without Ottawa,” during the broadcast.

Chantal “Chantsy” Sarkisian (Mode XLusive)

Chantal Sarkisian, known as Chantsy online, is a fashion and lifestyle blogger that mixes style, quirkiness and relatability to connect with her thousands of followers. Chantsy is a great role model for Ottawa women, and women in general, as she’s all about body positivity–being an outspoken advocate for curvy women and the importance of making plus-size fashion more accessible. Along with her full-time work managing her blog Mode XLusive, Chantsy has also made appearances on CTV Ottawa fashion segments.

Erica Wark (CTV’s The Social/ Erica on Fashion)

If you’re a fan of CTV’s daytime talk show The Social, you’ve likely seen Erica Wark. She is the hosts’ fashion stylist and also makes regular on-screen appearances as the residential fashion expert the show’s style segments. If you didn’t know she was from Ottawa, well now you do! In addition to her work on The Social, Erica has her very own fashion blog called Erica on Fashion where she shares fashion tips and style guides accompanied by gorgeous photos.

Dylan Black (Boom 99.7/Rogers TV’s Daytime Ottawa)

Vankleek Hill native Dylan Black is a workhorse. No, seriously. He tries to attend over 360 community events a year! Yeah, that’ll get you a “Best Community Builder” award nomination. A supporter of The Children’s Hospital, Black has been a tireless fundraiser for them as well as The Children’s Wish Foundation. He continues to run a successful Movember campaign and his annual Birthday Extravaganza has netted nearly $10,000 for various other charities. His efforts have won him the “Humanitarian of the Year” award. Did we mention he is also a host on Boom 99.7 and Rogers TV?

Amy Karlin (Amy in 613)

Amy Karlin, or Amy in 613 as she's known as online, is impossible not to fall in love with as soon as you come across her social feeds! This Ottawa gal is all about exploring and sharing everything local. Whether it's the latest restaurant, shop or festival in the city, you can bet Amy will be there. We highly recommend you visit her blog if you want to know all about the best the city offers. She also has the coolest, quirky - chic fashion sense that we’re very jealous of!
